Day and Boarding Programs

Day students from local school districts attend school during the day and go home via transportation arranged by the school districts.

About 65 percent of students enrolled at CSD stay on campus in supervised cottages because it is too far for them to travel home. All boarding students go home each Friday and return to school on Sunday during the school year. There are different schedules for holidays.

After school hours, CSD students are encouraged to do homework and participate in a variety of extracurricular activities. They experience direct communication with coaches, sponsors, and peers. Students develop an interest in sports, clubs, student government, drama, and more.
